Knox Bridge Boat Ramp

Could someone tell me if there is a launch fee at the Knox Bridge boat ramp?, Never launched there before.

3 bucks..watch out for shallow stumps..

Mo I believe it is a COE ramp, but I have never used it.

3 bucks is correct. Being that I like to fish the river it is my favorite ramp.

I've launched out of there 3 times now with limited to no success. Throwing only artificial lures. Anyone got any tips? Also, yes it's only 3 bucks or $30 for a year pass. On another note there's several no wake zone buoys around that ramp and the bridge but every boat I've seen just flys right on by them as if they don't apply....!?!?! Am I missing something here... There is a ton of shad balls around here right now but they're all really small and nothing seems to be chasing them at all.... I hope it gets better in this area because I live like 3 mins from it. So it's super convient

It was tough for us today 3, 9-10 inch fish. Threw everything but the tackle bag itself

It's been a tough summer for myself as well on this part of the water, Knox going north looking for the bass. I have noticed that the bite really picks up at night between the bridge and the fist right hand turn under the power lines. As cshiff777 said, the shad balls are brewing pretty hard right now in this area. If your into catfishing this is definitely a good stretch to be in. I've seen multiple bigguns pulled out this summer. I tooted up shoal creek not to long ago and was pulling small cats out all day long. They were chowing down on nightcrawlers.

I'm looking forward to the cooler weather bass fishing this year.
Anybody have a schedule or document on when and what ramps will be shuting down and or a draw down scope?

It's official. I just drove by Knox and it's closed up for the season. See y'all at fields now..
