Does this remind anyone of what the weather was like this spring? 8 plus inches in 24 hours putting us on the national news but this is following the driest month ever recorded in Chattanooga in August. What next, snow? I hope everyone survives this crazy and dangerous weather.

This DOES remind me of the fall of 2009 when we got hammered with rain and it brought lake Allatoona up 15' above summer pool. I was up in Chattanooga this afternoon and everything is flooded up there, There was water everywhere!

tornado destroyed a little area a few miles from my house and one of the houses I almost bought before i got this one has a tree on it........pretty crazy stuff. im pretty glad that seller refused to fix his rotten siding back in may, now the house he chose to sit on has a tree on it, bet hes kickin himself. my house that i just bought is in a bit of a "hole" in the neighborhood, im glad i cleaned out the storm drain a few days ago.

If the folks that have their boats in the water at our dock want to get to them they will have to drag their butts up hill on the walkway since the lake has come up so much. It is still raining and hopefully the TVA will suck some of this grass through the dam like they did in the spring to where it might help the shallow bite.
