I was needed to replace one of my bunk boards on my trailer and needed to find carpet. After several attempts I found a place in South Ga and they have a very good color selection. I was able to find the exact color I currently have. They have bunk Board carpet and regular boat/indoor/outdoor carpet as well. Even have some kits all ready cut. So if your winter project is to replace some carpet in the boat try www.marinecarpeting.com very nice folks and it only took 2 days to get my bunk board carpet. They also have a shop and can do the work for you.

Nutter Rod and Reel has some great deals on carpet if your looking to get it done without doing it yourself.

I replaced the carpet on my 1987 ProCraft last year before I sold it. I drove up to Dalton and purchased the carpet from Ingles Carpet (http://inglescarpetinc.com/index.html) and purchased the carpet glue from Home Depot. I purchased the 20oz carpet and was pleased with the way it felt under foot.
If I were going to keep the boat I probably would have went with the 28oz carpet

Troy I went with the 28 oz,, just felt like having some extra padding between the bunk and the boat,, LOL ( he was out of the 20 when I ordered)

This is something some don't know,,, Indoor/outdoor Carpet at HD or Lowes doesn't have the rubber backing (in store,, that is I believe you can get it from their web site),,, The rubber backing is crucial to the adhesion and moisture factor,,, if you are going to re carpet either your floor or bunks be sure to get it with rubber backing and use the right glue and stainless staples (for the bunks, I glued mine (bunks) and stapled the heck out of it )

Does Nutter Rod and Reel recarpet as well as sell the carpet. Anyone have any idea what it would run to replace carpet on a 24 foot pontoon to include under seats, in otherwords the entire deck of pontoon.

Richard, i have seen John restore a couple of toons over there. He had them completely stripped and rebuilt from the frame up.
