Fixing to pull the trigger on an 1198. Considering letting bay marine do the install but they keep raising the labor rate. Any suggestions on a better place for install?

Keep in mind Bay may be quicker and more efficient. It usually washes out once another place spends more hours at a cheaper rate. I'd rather pay a little more for someone I trust, since you'll have less hassle in the long run. Just my two cents...

I second what Mike says easy as can be... Also Lou did a great job on my 797 however after watching him do that one I have since moved that on to the front and installed my 998 at the console...I would get together with Lou and have him do it and save your money......

Lou's my electrician. LOL. I can rig electronics no problem but thats where the line stops. Looking back I wish I paid more attention in high school in electronics. If it has more then 2 wires and they aren't red or black I'm screwed LOL.
