This isn't the "Brand" of fish that we go after, but the Alabama Rig doesn't discriminate on the type of fish we catch. This Log-nosed Gar was 4'11" in Allatoona. I have to admit a little bit of ;D"Guilty Pleasure" ;D in catching this thing, but tell tell all my Bass fishing buddies that I had fun Good Luck with catching the right type out there. I guess this will no doubt be the largest fish that I catch in 2012. Attachments:

I meant to say " DON"T tell my bass fishing buddies", please don't. This was my guilty pleasure of this year, but I'll never admit to it.

It did pull like a train - all I could do was stand there and watch line pull off the reel for the 1st 90 seconds or so. I told Jim that he may need to crank the big motor for us to chase it - I didn't want to loose my Ala. rig to a Gar!
