In the last 24 hours there were 68 members on line, and of those, (even though they reap the benefits of the added cover and fishery improvement) how many decided to lend a hand in this effort. Maybe they only get on and look for reports, and don't look for anything else? Ray put out a tremendous effort to do something like this, and I would think real fishermen would want to help.
i would love to help out but i will be at the drag races this saturday..
sometimes you'll need to read my post again in a sarcastic tone. even my dog gives me the finger.. have a nice day!! r.i.p. gromit!! \m/ up the maidens \m/
Who has the cable cutters and crimping tool? If we get a hold of them tomorrow or the next day maybe we can get a bunch of them ready for Saturday?
Bob I have them at my house, but alas and alack I am in Savannah until Thursday. I have several that are already made up and with enough help Saturday we can have some people making up cables while the others are cutting. At the last cutting we spent the 1st hour making up cables and doing paper work and had several cables left over after the cutting. It doesn't take long once everyone has the system down.
Which reminds me, bring work gloves if you have them. You'll be glad you have a pair of gloves when you make up the wire cables.

At the Treecutting Saturday at Gatewood, DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT PAY FOR LAUNCHING OR PARKING. Dickey told me that there was no way he was going to make someone that is trying to help the lake pay to use the facilities. I will have a Special Pass for you to put on your dash. Of course if you have a Bartow county Park Pass then by all means use it. And please park in the proper slots by the restroom if you do not have a boat trailer.
