Good evening all.. I'm new here and doing this on my phone so please excuse any errors...
I just bought my 1st JonBoat and am looking forward to going out on Friday... I've never fished allatoona, but it's close to the house and easy to get to...
since this is my first time on the lake fishing, could someone please let me know where I should go for some success?? I dont want your secret spot, just a place I might get some bites... I was thinking going with some jigs or spinners and cranks since I'm not that experienced with artificial bait...
can someone tell me if theres live bait access at Gaults Ferry?
Again, hello to all and thanks for letting me join!!

the 3 you listed should work for baits.. may want to try shaky head style of fishing or drop shot.. but it may be time to throw float and fly. these are intended to catch bass but its possible to catch other species as well.
you can get live bait at the corner of bells ferry and kellogg creek road at the gas station there. 3 way mart or market.. if your trying to catch your own bait ive seen people use throw nets but ive never used one.
good luck

what team in c league? my son played last season summer league in A divison kennesaw.. well the team he played for won the whole league but was dq'ed do to some of the guys that worked at the rink played on his team didnt pay the office.. some of the other teams were interested in him to play for other teams. his team had some good talent but alot of his team mates played as individuals and not a team.
ive played in the cooler leagues couple years back..and i have a level 4 usa hockey coaches card as well.. i can coach high school on down to mites. you probably seen me at the rink..
mike has a video up on the site here showing how to fish the fnf.. they say when the weather is the nastiest that best conditions for fnf.. good luck.. in the summertime you may want to try your luck on acworth since the zoo on the lake isnt the nicest to fisherman let alone people in jon boats..acworth is electric only though..

your son plays A? holy moly! thats insane... i guess YOU dont play in C then so maybe we wont play vs eachother...
im sure i have seen you at the rink, but since i dont KNOW you... i didnt know!!
hahahaha... maybe we can meet up sometime...
im ok with electric only... i have a 30 lb minn kota and i know what you mean about the zoo on the lake... probably better off staying away from the big water in summer, but we can always try!
