Well I was planning to chase hybrids this morning, but was talking to a friend yesterday evening and he asked if I wanted to join him instead. And since my friday trip was slow, I figured a change in pace we be good. So I got up at 445, ran 9 miles, came home and showered and the met my buddy jeff (crappie man) at kellogg. You gotta love being able to get to the ramp at 7am and not worrying about catching bait:) Started out in the s-turns and were on the crappie pretty good before things slowed down. Think we had about 21 in the boat. So then we ran a little close to vitoria and found plenty of whites, spots and one nice hybrid, but only one crappie. Saw a bunch of birds diving along the rockwall as you head into s turns and saw a few boats fishing the area for a while, but couldn't tell if they were catching anything. All in all we ended up with 40 fish, and about 30+ keepers, for a fry tomorrow night. Had a great time out there with jeff, my dad, and son. All the fish came on jigs tipped with minnows. Now I'm ready to chase the linesides again... i372.photobucket.com/albums/oo166/lakeallatoonafishing/20130113-00098_zpsf08c4659.jpg[/IMG]
