No replies to "New to area" initial post. I guess there are not any active clubs close to the Calhoun area.
Thanks

Sorry about the lack of responses and I'm afraid that I can't be of much help either as I'm not aware of any clubs in the Calhoun area. But I'm not into club fishing either. You might want to check out some of the other clubs that are mentioned in some of the other posts, as several frequent lakes within driving distance of Calhoun.

Thanks www.castawaybassclubnwga.com We have members from all over georgia and even TN because you aren't required to be at the meetings, 25.00 per tourny and 25.00 per year. great club and no BASS or FLW fees.

Thanks for the info MoBass and leapnlineman. May have to check them out. Have been fishing Carters a few times in the last 2 wks and having a lot of fun with the spots. Also supprised to catch a smallmouth about 2 1/2 lbs and a largemouth close to 4 lbs. Still trying to get a few more hrs on motor breakin. Looking forward to fishing Altoona for the first time maybe next wk. Thanks again and God Bless.

Thanks for the info hockeyruss123. Have been in Timberghost several times. They have a great stock and decent prices. Rather give them the business than the big brick and mortor stores. Mike is very nice and will try to help in any way he can.
