I'm going to be fishing as a Guest with Chris Saturday. So your saying I need to show up Wednesday for the meeting? Are we registering at the meeting or at the ramp? How much is it to fish as a guest?

Frank we always take the entry fee at the meeting and never at the ramp. That way we know by Wednesday evening who's coming and have all the financial stuff taken care of. We hand out the weigh in chips for the boats and go fishing at the tournament. You can show up in person and visit with us , or send your money by proxy, just make sure you are in the pot before we end the meeting.

The Weather was nice, the lake was crowded (the fireworks show really drew a crowd!). Every huge wave making machine on the lake came to the show and plowed the lake until about midnight! We all survived except Barry and Terry who left the tournament early with boat troubles, I hope it's nothing major and I am glad they got off the lake safely. We had 16 members and 1 guest fishing last night. For most of us it was a struggle catching keepers. The numbers of small fish were abundant according to just about everyone I spoke to, but they just weren't long enough. Never the less, someone will always figure something out and last night was no exception (come to next months meeting and find out what they did to catch fish!) Here's how it played out for the money spots: 1st place went to Chris Wade with 5 fish for 8.73, and Big Bass honors also with a 2.98 lb. fish. 2nd place belongs to Jake Akin with 5 fish for 7.38 3rd place was Eric Fischer with 5 fish for 4.75 lbs. 4th place was Goff McMahon with 3 fish for 4.73 lbs. Here's a picture of Mr. Jim in the back of my boat, no reason just took a picture of him while trying to figure out the flash on my camera And this is why I needed the flash! next month we come back to Toona for yet another night time adventure, I am betting that the fishing will improve.

In your hands they would've appeared much smaller. The largest one was 2.98.
