This Wednesday, Mar 11, 2015 is our monthly meeting at the Center Street Tavern and Grill in Old Town Acworth, GA. We'll be signing up folks who are going to fish the Chickamauga tournament this Saturday out of Harrison Bay State Park (7:30AM till 3:30PM). We also welcome anyone and everyone who would like to join the club to come on out and join us. You may fish one event as a guest (even in your own boat), but you must be a member and paid up completely to compete in the Calcutta Pot (approaching $1200).

Or Should I say the Calcutta Lives! Eric tried very hard and almost succeeded with a 6.50lb fish that looked for all the world to be the Calcutta, but the scales fell slightly short of the target of 7lbs. Nonetheless he very soundly stomped us in the ground with 5 fish for 22.28, Second place went to Mike Cronin with 3 fish for 8.68lbs and Marc Lockwood weighed the only other keeper fish at 6.20lbs. The other 14 of us just couldn't get a keeper in the boat. The water temp ranged from 48.6 to 50.1 all the places I fished today, water clarity was better described as "murky", not muddy on the main lake. It drizzled a light rain or mist off and on all day and never really felt warm or comfortable until we had weigh in. The lake was crowded to say the least, bass-boats everywhere! It looked like "war zone" with all those Bullets flying by (pun intended). I will load the pictures shortly. Check out the stats to see how it went (got it all right in this blurp for this event! LOL).Here's Eric's fish and Marc's and mine!!
