Cobb county resident here. I have two kids, 14 & 11, that are learning to fish. I took them crappie fishing a few weeks ago and had a little success but wanted to inquire about the bass fishing tips and tricks....at least what y'all are willing to share. I've always fished small ponds and rivers growing up so a lake like allatoona and Lanier are a bit overwhelming for me. What are the popular baits this time of year and general areas? I'm not looking to steal anyone spots, but just want the kids to have some success. Any insight is certainly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
