Might be my first bass!?!?

Was going through some old photo's the other day and ran across this catch from Lake Sinclair. Not 100% if this is my first bass, but, it is defiantly the only photo. Do you remember your first catch?

Very cool! I remember the first fish I think I caught and it was a smallie in Ohio. We were visiting cousins and went to a local pond and watched them eat broken pieces of Senko lookin worms we used.........Vivid for some reason........Did not really get into Bass specific fishin til High school. It was always Bream, Cats Blue Gill

Remember my first bass well. A neighbor had a pond about a mile from where I lived and they did not run us out of there fishing. Pond was maybe 2 acres or less more narrow and long as I recall. I thru a jitterbug as far across the pond as I could and was getting a backlash out of the J C Higgins reel that was on a very short metal casting rod. When I got the line corrected my jitterbug was gone, end result caught my first bass maybe 10-11 inches long. This was about 70 years ago and the jitterbug was yellow. Still have the rod and reel today, also back then the line was black nylon similar to braided line.

hahaha - That's funny about the jitterbug. I just started playing with that lure and I can confirm it stills works.
