Awesome job! A beast man!! What size shakey were you using and around what depth? Thanks man! It was a 1/4 oz shaky head and my boat was sitting in about 8 foot of water, casting toward the bank. Here is a video of the action youtu.be/M9FOCYlyAVEHaha

Was that on the north end near the river or just a creek? Surprised they are already back so shallow! Awesome video!

I caught that one on the weekend after Labor Day - I think it was. This past weekend though, I was seeing huge amounts of bait fish in the backs of pockets and creeks. The water was super clear 5-6 foot viability. Thanks

Awesome, I was out Sunday morning and throwing a spinner off of a jetty near the Blockhouse ramp and was able to pull a nice 2-3lb in. Sad part is that I handed the rod off to my newbie fisher cousin who i was teaching(so he could catch one) and the second cast he reels it under a rock... I was frustrated to say the least as it was the only spinner i had and it was the only lure to get any action that day. Probably 10ish feet of water and the fish were smashing topwater until about 8:30 or 9 o'clock. I will be returning to the spot this weekend to try with a buzzbait and some more topwater ideas whether on land or boat and I will definitely be checking out the north side of the lake next boating trip I take.

Man you gotta try that Whopper Plopper! I have been doing well with the Double Plopper. I know Cablea's has some, atleast last time I was there. That Plopper is crazy, it makes me laugh everytime I catch a fish on it because its kind of like cheating.

I have been hearing a good bit about it, and looking for a topwater lure that will get the job done. I will invest in one next time I can make it to Cabela's. Would you suggest the 3 or 5 inchers?

Well I been using the Double Plopper - Which kind of looks like a A Rig without the hooks on the others. As aggressive as these spots are I would think they would easily latch onto a 5". I have both the 3 and 5, but, I haven't stopped using the Double. As far as a recommendation, I would say just get the double if you can only purchase one. www.cabelas.com/product//2361809.uts?searchPath=%2Fbrowse.cmd%3FcategoryId%3D734095080%26CQ_search%3Ddouble%2Bplopper%26CQ_st%3Db
