BOb, Your right Oaks do last longer and have a bigger spread. We do cut some but not many as those are one of the rules we have to follow. We can cut Sweetgum and Pine all day long. But yeah we are looking forward to everyone's help!

rally73sport, in addition to the hammer here is a list of items that you can bring if you have them, if you don't have something don't worry we will get by. Most of all we need willing volunteers the rest has always managed to fall in place.
Work Gloves Sharp pocket knife Small sturdy bag to carry supplies Eye protection Hard hat Ear protection Chainsaw chaps Chainsaw Gas, oil and bar oil Boat
Bring any, all or none of these items. I would also highly reccommend that you wear long pants and a good pair of boots as the terrain can be rough and brushy.

Sounds good Ray! Not sure about the first date, but I do want to get out there this year and help again. For those of you who did not get a chance to help last year, I would strongly encourage you to come out this time around. You'll have a lot of fun and you'll get to meet some good folks!
Fish ain't got arms, legs, or elbows if ya feel a thump, cross his eyes!!!
Good chance that my dad and I will be there. Ain't a guarantee yet, but a good chance. We have a good saw, and a variety of large hammers. However, the chances of me having a running boat at that time are slim. We also lack chaps.
