I am ready to see some trees fall down. I will hold a tree cutting on Saturday the 14th. I plan on starting at 10 AM and finish around 2 PM. There are 3 areas on the South end of the lake that haven't even been touched, I will post which ramp to meet at by next Tuesday. If you are new to the 2008 Tree Cutting Program you will have to sign a waiver for the COE & DNR releasing them of any liabilities. If you have a chainsaw bring it, if you have a boat bring it, if you have a good hammer or knife bring them too, if you don't have anything bring yourself and a smile. Please wear long pants and shoes or preferably boots with good traction as there are some rough and bushy areas to be covered. For you newbies this is a great way to get to know some of the forum members and make new fishing partners.
Please post here if you can make this cutting.

I have been waiting for these south end trees to fall. I will be there and will bring that cable.

I wish the boys and I could make it! The oldest is still playing ball and it will be a while before we can find a Saturday to drop some trees. We could probably make a Sunday easier than a Saturday at least until late summer.
Ya'll be careful and have fun.

Dangit Ray! Why couldn't you have told me about this before I got my plane ticket? I will be landing at ATL while you are cutting.
Dang, missed another one. Killian, I think we should take matters into our own hands, my saw needs some exercise.
See you at the next one Ray. Ya'll be safe.

Eric & Chris no problem, see you both on the next one. There may only be four of us this weekend but I got a new blade for my saw and sharpened up the old one to boot. The South end needs some trees in it bad.
Cecil I hope you still have a saw!!
