The coloring look like smallmouth, but they're not smallies, unless they're some type of GA breed!

harley, I am from Louisiana . Been catchign quite a few sac a lait belive it or not. I miss the mud fish tho tmtr. They do look very similiar to smallmouth. They do jump as well. The one thing about shoal bass that I found interesting is that they live in the rapids. Spots and smallies seem to be on the edge of the rapids LOL. MEAN boogers!! Mike

Jay098, you can put in at the Hwy 27 bridge just north of Hwy 156, & I'm sure there might be a couple of more places also. We have caught quite a few decent size bass out of Armuchee Creek, and bream all day long. The trophy lake at Rocky Mt. is open through Sunday, and it's a good place to bass fish. Head for the stumps straight across from the boat ramp and you should have some luck. Especially in the evenings.

Been catchign quite a few sac a lait belive it or not. I miss the mud fish tho Did you sell all of your Lucky Crafts and buy Roadrunners and Crappie jigs? ;D If you want to do some mudfishing come with me in November to the Stick Marsh.
