Got out today with a full day with my buddy Craig and had a so so decent day with about 15-18 fish. We launched out of Kellog this am and at our first stop we ran into quite a bit of schooling fish. Caught 8 or so nice spots really quick mostly on Sammy 100's. We picked off a few with a Fish Head Spin and a spoon as well. After 9:30 or so the schooling bite died and we went North looking for more fish. The senko bite is really trying to take off. We just aren't quite yet where we need to be temperature wise for that bite yet. I predict consistant upper 70's and we will be whacking 30+ fish a day with minimal effort. Anything above Victoria right now the water has a slight stain to it. Anything south of Kellogg seems to have much prettier water. The spoon bite is still hanging in there as we caught spoon fish almost every place we went (counting a few crappie) LOL. But fall is right around the corner and I expect the big bait bite, spinnerbait bite and the Senko's to be full bore by the end of September (hopefully sooner) if this cool weather keeps it's pattern.
For the rest of September I have Sept 21, 24, 25 and 26 left. October is filling up fast. If you want a massive swimbait bite October should be a blast. Oct dates available are Oct 4th and 11th and a few more dates toward the end of October. Email me if you have any questions or have any problems registering on the site. Email is mbucca@comcast.net
