Water Temps 63ish Water Level 19.5 feet and falling Clarity Clear Fishing is fairly tough for the big fish but there are some biting but you really really got to put the time in and work for them. The best bite going right now is the spoon bite. Lots of fish being caught on the spoon in both the main lake as well as in the creeks. Lots of shad almost everywhere you go. One key thing to know about the shad is that they are SMALL!! Lots of newly hatched shad running around so a smaller spoon will probably out produce the bigger spoons. Just watch your sonar. The spaghetti isn't going to be as big as we have seen in the summer but pods of smaller schools of fish are the norm. Right now I would say the guys that throw the finnesse stuff are doing much better than the reaction type baits. There is a spinnerbait bite going on however but mostly small stuff. Concentrate in the 20-30ft range for most of your efforts. Lots of deep fish for this time of year which is typically not normal but I think it's an effect of the water being pulled so low. (theory not fact). Above is my buddy Kevin Kelly who nailed this 5.2lb Allatoona spot yesteray afternoon .
