Water temp was 64-65 for most of the afternoon. Started off at 58 and air temp was a balmy 41 degrees this am. Got out with the Welchel boys on Lanier. They wanted a change of scenery and opted for Lanier to do some fishing. We had a great day with 30+ fish in the boat and many many many did I say many misses LOL. We got 2 nice spots in the boat and I had a mammoth spot whack my Hampton Shad but no hooks. Easy easy 6lb spot as I saw her clear as day right at the boat. We caught fish on a ton of different baits. We caught fish on Sammy Topwater, Flashminnow 95MR Jerkbaits, Senkos (blue pearl of course), and jigggg jigggggg jigggggg wwwww Jigggg wworrrrrrr d**n I can't say it. The pattern was super simple to read and follow and duplicate throughout most of the lake. I felt like I was on vacation the fishing was so easy compared to Allatoona. We had a great time and had a ton of fun cutting up as we always do on our trips. Thanks Chris and Steve. Mike
