Water Temp mid to high 80's and looks like we are a hair above full pool ;(. I went out today just to try out the spot tail bite as I have some kids on a trip coming up. Spot tail bite is really doing well. I had a mixture of 21 fish in about 3 hrs all on Spot Tails and I never threw a artificial at all today. Seems like 20 to 25ft is the key holding depth. I caught 5 crappie that would prolly go 7 or 8lbs (nice crappie atleast for me LOL). Other than the fact that they feel like your reeling in a water logged sock they were fun to catch LOL. I had 8 crappie, 1 white bass, 2 stripers and 10 spots. Some of the spots were pretty decent size and a blast to catch on a spinning rod and 6lb line. I caught most of the fish in a variety of places like bluffs, long points and around brush. Fishing was great until I ran out of minners. Mike
