Fishing is getting interesting. The topwater bite is starting to get furious at first light now that the full moon is past us. Best days are overcast and no wind if you can make a wish. I'm doing well on Sammy's for the most part and a cool little crankbait that I am playing with I figured what the heck nobody throws a crankbait like this and it's working very well given the conditions.. But once the sun gets up and hot it's funny that little cool front we had moved my fish shallower than the previous week. They just up and left me LOL. I figured they would move deeper but they moved out stacked up like cordwood at 25 feet to like 15 feet. Thats cool fronts for ya. To me they are harder to catch at 15ft than they are at 25ft. Might just be me tho. Brush, humps and long points are still the deal and will continue to be the deal for the mid day bite throughout the summer. I'm working spoons, dropshot, jigs and plastic wo wooorrrr woorrrrmmmmss in those areas. Mike
