Dustin, I am going up there one day next week for the first time. Where can I get a decent map? Where's the best launching location? Can you share any tips? A buddy is coming down from Tennessee, and we'll be hitting a number of different lakes next week just for the fun of it!

Nice Smallie Dustin-what did it weigh? I caught a 3.92 smallie Oct 18th on Blue Ridge just around the corner from the Lakewood ramp-it destroyed a spinnerbait-i mean the eyes were bugged out and crossed when that smallie got done with it. Hey Bob-you can get a Blue Ridge map from the Bargain Barn on Hwy 515 on your way to Blue ridge. ;D

Hey Bob most tackle shops north of Canton should have one, Bargain Barn would probably be the best. Last time I was up there the smaller shad had may there way to the backs of the creeks, while the Bluebacks were still all over the main lake. Find the the Bluebacks and you'll find some big smallmouth. But there are some killer largemouth in the lake as well. Hope you have a great trip.

much appreciated, Dustin. We are planning a late morning run up there tomorrow (Thursday). Any particular bait, color, etc., that is working better?
