I will be having a tree cutting session next Saturday or Sunday morning, that is on July 14th or 15th to clarify the date. Hope you can make it and I will post time and place at a later date. Let me know which day would be better for you, I will go with the day that I get the most response to. I would like to start early and get off the lake before all the crazys get on it. I will have copies of the maps of all the areas that are being cut to give out to those that help. There is a waiver that you must sign for the USACE and DNR in order to help, as they will not be responsible for any accidents or injuries. If you have a chainsaw (with gas and oil) or big hammer bring it, all other supplies will be furnished. And I always try to remember to bring extra drinks. There have been a lot of fish taken off of the trees that we have allready cut, so the program is working. Including the one in the picture. If you can help on one of these days please post a response here at this thread!!!Ray

just to clarify guys ray has the waiver that you have to sign. you don't have to do anything special to get the waiver. other than signing it of course. there was some confusion about this a while back when we were trying to get participation a while back.
btw i will be putting up a map of all the areas cut when i get back home from vegas. it will be a password protected board. those that have participated will have access to the maps. just so you know we do this to try to encourage participation.
btw ray thanks for spearheading this session ;D you guys be careful and watch for snakes and drink plenty of fluids

Man that is a sweet looking fish! Let me know what day you decide to do this and I will try to make it........it does not really matter wether it is Saturday or Sunday, as long as we start EARLY! I dont know for sure, but will try and get out there....the blade on my saw is junk so I will try to put a file on it, just dont knwo how long it will last. My hammer is still heavy, so I will be happy to bring it and bang em in! I still have the supplies you gave me last time and I have a few more waivers. Did I tell you that is an AWESOME looking fish?

Sounds like most people can make it on Saturday, so lets do it Saturday morning. Plus the Friday night tourney is happenning on Sunday afternoon this week. I'll post later the time and place. I 'm thinking some of you may want to fish the morning bite first, so what do you think about meeting at 8:30AM and finish around 12:30? Or do you want to skip the morning bite and start earlier? Probably meet at a ramp up north as areas to be cut are in the vicinity of Little River. Let me know what you think.
