We had 10 volunteers today and brought another 90 trees into the lake. We cut again in Area 30, still 4 more trees left there and then went to Area 34. Don't know how many are left there as I did not go all the way to the end of that area. There were some good bluff walls there and I marked the top of one tree after it was cut in 34 feet of water and it appeared to go all the way to the bottom. Guess what I'm trying to say is that I am pretty confident that we have year round trees tops in the water now. I got a few pic's and movies and will post those later.
A BIG THANKS TO ALL THAT HELPED, GOTTA GO!!

OK - so I am a day late and a dollar short. I didn't know you rescheduled yesterdays cut for today I would have rather been helping cut trees today then attempting to fish this mud/high pressure. I missed a post or something. I saw where Shadowfax told me to bring a saw, I thought he may have mistyped. I feel terrible now. I even left the lake early. -T

Awesome pics and video. My 3 year old will sit on my lap and watch those Tree Videos all day long if I would let him. He is gonna be STOKED that he has another "tree fall down" video as he calls it to watch LOL. I think his only goal in life right now is to see one in person. BTW I think it's better on the trees to land in the water vs hard hard ground. Less limbs break. Man look at the MUDDY WATER! Steve and Steve HUSH!! Mike

Ray, thanks for heading up the tree cutting and keeping everything running smoothly. I didn't sharpen the saw after the Feb cutting, and about half way through the day yesterday it was starting to show.
Mike, I did notice a few limbs that broke when the trees hit the water, but nothing like the one we did back in Feb that were landing on the ground. Some of those trees lost half of their limbs. With the higher water everything will be falling into the water and it's pretty neat to see the water explode. I agree with your boy that it is pretty cool!!!
Dale, I enjoyed working with you on Sunday! Get any takers on the U-rigs?

That would be my hard hat! A branch caught it as I was backing away from the tree and knocked it clean off. I had checked my path and it was clear, except for one wayward stick. Just another bit to add to the sad story of my day. I did make it to Park to get fuel at least.

I was wondering what happened to you. Ray just said you had boat issues. Mike no problem these tree cuttings are a blast to do. And I get to learn places on the lake I don't normally get to go. Can't wait to get to the side I normally fish around Kellogg Creek. Sean

Yeah Sean, on top of everything else, I failed to fill the second tank before hitting the lake. It really would have been embarrassing to be towed on top of it all.
