Water level up atleast 3ftish
It was brisk this morning with temps around 30 at first lite. The fish are still biting pretty good on Carters on the Float N Fly. I got out this morning with Michael wanting to learn the fly to use on other lakes that he fishes. We started off slow but I knew it was going to be slower with the blue bird skies that was forecasted but we hung in there and scratched things out . We stayed with a longer leader all day and Mike threw the Spot Sushi and I threw a bleeding spot Sushi fly
. We ended up with about 10 fish and we lost 2 GOOD fish during the day (one was a lift bite) that just came off shortly after the initial hookset that would have really given us a nice sack of fat spotties to pose for a picture. Here are a best two fish of the day. I have some days open next week if anyone is interested in a fly trip.
