I have a 1985 Merc 200 black max. I am having an issue of it shutting off on me when I am running at WOT. There isn't any warning of any type, it just shuts down. It will restart, but I have to choke it and advance the throttle to do so. Any ideas?

A tiny hole/leak in your fuel lines would go un-noticed until the engine was really sucking gas through the line. The increase in pressure would cause the motor to suck in air instead of fuel and shut down.
