I have a transducer for my bow electronics mounted onto the bottom of my trolling motor. The transducer is broken on the neck right beside where it attaches to the to the trolling motor. I have tried numerous types of glue and epoxy. I can't seem to find one that will hold dependably. Any advice on what to use to get this to stick? Thanks Archie Scott

Archie. I doubt you will find any kind of glue that will work atleast long term. You could use that ducer as a spare in the bilge for a console unit... having said that there are a few aftermarket transducer gaurds you can invest in.

I found a website , LEI, that has another transducer for 60$. I guess that is probably the best solution. If I have to do that I may consider upgrading my electronics. Right now I have a x125, what would you recommend in the $400-500 range? Never changed a transducer out either. I assume I just unplug the old wiring and route the new one down the trolling motor? Archie Scott YEP, PRETTY STRAIGHT FORWARD,, TRY EBAY ALSO FOR YOUR TRANSDUCER.

Archie Scott If you are going to replace a transducer you need to use the old ones wire to pull the wire for the new one. Just cut the old one off at the transducer. Then tape the new ones plug to that wire to pull to your console.
