Guys,
Just an update. We now have 12 boats registered for the tournament.
Some of you have not posted your co-angler:
Jason Mullinax Brian Briggs Bill Rodgers
Please update with your co-anglers name prior to Thurs. Nov. 15
Remember all entries, boater and co-angler, must be members of AllatoonaBass.com to be eligible to fish the tournament.
I will keep you posted as tourney time draws nearer.
As of today, the Dugout via Craig Miller, came on board as one of the tournament sponsors. More news to come.
Thanks, Ranger Steve <")))><

Mike and crew,
I guess right now we have to go with the "wait and see" or "play it by ear" mentality.
I agree with Mike, the Blockhouse is probably going to be our only option come November.
It's not worth demolishing or damaging our boats.
We can see what happens between now and tournament time.
Worst case and we are fortunate enough to get some beneficial rain, we can postpone it until March or April.
More to come................

According to my calculations, right now the two right ramps at Gaults have 6.5 feet at the end of both ramps. If the corp shuts them down at 3 ft (which is their policy) there is basically 3.5 feet of water until they are unusable. With this tourney in approx. 4 weeks, I think it should be fine because I heard (not sure and haven't researched it either) that the corp was going to cutback the outflow of water. With them running about a foot a week now, if they cut that back 25%, then there should be just enough water at the ramp for Gaults to be open. If not, Blockhouse has over 10 feet of water right now over the center ramp. That means there is 7 feet of water there before the ramp gets closed. I think bassamasta is right...excuses excuses...lol
And also, Matt and I would like to come fish too :-)

Ok my dad and I are going to fish in this probably. I will let him make the official reply since he has the boat. Also after we check Mike's boat who is going to sneak over and hide his tackle box full of swimbaits and spoons and senkos......lol...On second thought, I think we all need to chip in a lure to his tournament box to even the odds a a little (a very little though). I will give him a black jitterbug...lol.... Jusk kidding I look forward to it, i know we will not win, but it will be nice to get on the water and fish in a tourney assuming we wil have a ramp by then.
