My directional lights and break lights work great on my Triton Trailer but the side 'Triton' Lights stink, i have been under my Trailer several times and have the Passenger side working(Ground wire) but the other side there is a black wire the come out of the Trailer Iron through a small hole with a rubber grommett that has broken off, any Triton Owners have this issue or does anyone have a suggestions how to get to this Black wire that runs up through the trailer iron-Thanks-Mo ;D

Yes but i can't get a grip on the wire that's still up in the trailer, it's broke off up inside of the hole, that's the way the other side is rigged so i know that's what it is. Thanx Danny-Mo ;D

you could drill a new hole a little further towards the front of the trailer and pull the wire thru and ground it to the trailer. you can get the gromet for the new hole at lowes. just a thought. oldfishinfool

Well i have a found a Metal Drill Bit and the right drill to drill a hole and try to get to the wire but this poses another question, once i have reconnected the wire will a standard wire-nut do the job or do i need a special submergible connector/wire nut? Anthony could you maybe chime in and maybe give me a price on how much it would be for you to do this work. Thanks-Mo ;D

I DON'T THINK YOU WILL NEED A "SPECIAL TYPE" OF CONNECTOR KEITH,,,BUT IT WOULDN'T HURT EITHER,, I NORMALLY JUST TAPE MINE UP REAL GOOD WITH ELECTRICAL TAPE

Keith if you want to make it water proof just use a butt splice but before you splice it together slide a heat shrink over one end and the after you make the crimp slide the heat shrink down over the splice and use a lighter to shrink it down to a water proof seal. Most auto part stores will carry the heat shrinks.
