Bob if I had to guess I would say that you were near Clear Creek, possibly the flats just uplake from there. Of course you were facing the West.

I was out for a couple hours yesterday and it looks alot like a westward look from Kellog Creek. Sun was setting with almost the same photo op (plus a couple jet fleas in the background).

Actually LeapingLineman is closest so far. Not exactly on target, but closer. We were sitting across from the Restaurant and entrance to the Marina. Some folks call it Flagpole Point, Anyway, we were directly across the lake (east) and I was shooting across the reef marker at 9E towards Pine Mountain and the Dam area. In fact the bassboat in the picture is on the reef pole at 9E.

That might just be the Purtiest Sunset i have ever seen-Good JOB BOB ;D Don't let the way i spelled the Non Existant word Purtiest worry ya None-somebody selling Dirt over on Sixes road has a sign up 'DURT' For Sell, and it wasn't me-LOL ;D
