The 1st cutting this year will be on Saturday June 26th. Lets meet at Tanyard Creek boat ramp at 8:30AM and cut until around 11:30 or so. I will have waivers for everyone to sign, a few hard hats, a few safety glasses, a few pairs of gloves, cable and the big hard heads (4" nails). All you will need to bring is a large hammer and a chainsaw with fuel if you have one. If you have your own hard hat and glasses by all means bring them. Also the COE requires that we wear pants (jeans) no shorts. I also recommend that you wear boots for ankle protection as some of the areas we traverse can be slippery even if it isn't muddy.

Looks like my boat won't be up and running by then (USPS brought my gearcase halfway across the country, then returned it to sender, what the heck), and my dad (read: saw operator) probably can't make it, so I probably won't be the most useful. If you think you need an extra set of hands/hammers, and not much else, shoot me a PM, and I'll be there. Otherwise, I'll see y'all on the next one.

What do you mean? Do I need a big hard heads to cut? Tom this is what I mean: Kacee sorry it has taken me so long to reply. I'm in Savannah until Friday late afternoon. I may not be able to meet with you until next week. I can always use those suppies next time. I will try to call you before Friday. Dawson no problem either way. You can always get in on the next one.
