Chuck they are talking about Lake Guntersville in northern Alabama. It is one of the best big bass lakes in the southeast. Ray Can you name one that is better than Guntersville in the southeast. Is Florida included Tom? If it is I say the Chain Lakes kicks Guntersville's tail for size and quantity. Time after time I've been there . Yeah I have pulled a pig or two at G'ville but in one day on three occasions I pulled 8 pigs out of Lake Cypress and Toho. No comparison. Florida Lakes kicks the heck out of G'ville.

Last time I checked U of F Gators were in the SEC. Russ hit the nail on the head. If you grew up in central Florida like I did you would also know that there are many lakes in Florida that rate as good or better than Guntersville. East & West Toho, Okeechobee, Stick Marsh, Rodman, George, Cypress, Blue Cypress, Walk on Water just to name a few. Yeah, I think Florida counts and I'm willing to bet somebody on here is thinking to themselves what about Sinclair or any number of other lakes in the southeast.

Gotta agree with florida. They pull out more 10lb + fish than any state that I am aware of.
