whew, I'm dizzy from reading all the internet stuff on boat trailer tires......hell, it's almost just flip a coin. Figured I'd go to my local friends for advice.....I'm looking for a good radial that comes with raised white letters.......can ya'll recommend any?

Hey Bob, I think Marathon by Goodyear are excellent tires, but I don't know about the white letters though.

Have heard good and bad about the Marathon tires,,,, Just make sure you get "Trailer" tires,,, should have a "C" rating,,, Basically a stiffer shoulder on the tire to handle the bouncing a trailer takes,,, A lot stiffer then a passenger or lite truck tire

Went by Dallas Tire today - Marathons are $104 in my size but they quit making RWL's.....guy recommended a tire made by MAXXUS (sp?) says it's a company that makes tires for big semi's/trailers......they have RWL's....same price. Will have to think awhile....maybe if I can get the redneck out of me I'll buy just black wall tires.......I guess I just can't forget that first set of raised white letter tires I bought for my first car......the tires cost more than the car......
