JJ will win his fifth in a row. The 48 is a monster on the next 10 tracks and should sweep at Loudon this weekend. My wife likes the 14 like you though. Should be the closest run though since the first one and won't be decided until the last lap at Homestead.

Andy, really can't count out Denny Hamlin either. But it seems the 48 lies in wait until the chase starts and then hammers everybody. If JJ wins 5 in a row, that will be amazing !! Doug

you know I've done NASCAR Angels for the Goodyear I worked at, and meet Tony Stewart. I was really excited about meeting him. That is till I actually meet him. WHAT A PRICK he was! He wouldn't even do autographs for the guys that did the NASCAR Angels. Couldn't even get a pic with him. I hope some one puts him in the wall!
Sorry I just really hate it when all the people that actually did all the work get nothing and the people that did nothing get all the credit.

The Chase Format suxs in my opinion,, Having been a Nascar junkie since 1990,,, I agree wins needed more point value, but to take the top 12 and then "SEED" them in my opinion SUXS,, Harvick and RCR have worked their dam butts off to be the point leader going into the chase and now to be seeded third? Whats up with that? ?Leave it they way you had it to start with (the Chase format I mean) Whoever is the point leader stays the point leader. And go back to top 10,,, Face it the guys from basically 5-6 on back have realistically no shot at all in winning the chase (Mathematically yes, realistically no). Or if you are going to change it go to top 5 or 6. I remember the 1st chase,, Jamie McMurray (I believe) was about 15th going into the last 10 races,,, do you know had there not been a chase he would have finished the season in 8 or 9th place,,, thats a big payday difference from 8 to 11th place. I can guarantee you this,, If Dale Sr was alive today this crap (Seeding) wouldn't be happening. But hey I'll still watch it. (Just so long as it ain't Kyle Busch) I give credit where its due he can flat out drive a car but his attitude suxs. Guess Jimmy Spencer needs to adjust his nose like he did Big Bro Kurts, After that Kurt got a better attitude.

Now Danny, Kyle Bush is GREAT for NASCAR imo. Think about it...NASCAR has not had a true "black hatted villain" since the demise of Dale Sr. Right now Kyle Bush is the driver everyone loves to hate. As for the chase, Youre' right ! Harvick should be the #1 seed !! But I also believe that they should drop the # of chase drivers back down to 10 like they started with. Change the schedule... You start in Daytona...YOU END IN DAYTONA !!! After the Daytona 500, the series should go aout West until the weather improves in the South East then come back to your Talladega, Bristol, Charlotte. PS-NASCAR fan since 1990 also. When the #3 car cut down a tire on the final lap of the Daytona 500 & little known Derek Cope won. Doug

I tell ya aint nothing like seeing that black hood in your rear view
Kyle is good just his attiude,, Kurt was alot like him when he was driving for Jack and after his altercation with Spencer at Michigan he toned down and got more likeable.
I believe the Black Hat is being worn by at least 3 drivers, Kyle (Rowdy) Bush, Cousin Carl, and Bad Brad Kesolwski.
To tell you the truth I see alot of Sr in Brad. If an owner can get to him and pull those regins tight like Richard did with Dale This driver is going places.

Ya know as long as Jimmy Johnson does not win I'll be happy. I don't care for him that much.

Black Hat Drivers for me are...Kyle Bush, Tony Stewart(even though he's an owner now), Harvick. Kyle because of he's good & his attitude. Stewart & Harvick, simply because they've got a "mean streak". With honorable mentions to...Carl, Keselowski, & JP Montoya. DM<

Dannyp I agree with most of what you said and wish they would at least cut back to 10 instead of 12. The only reason they went to 12 to start with is so Dale Jr. might make it in. I have pulled for my man Harvick ever since he took Dale Sr. place after Dale Sr. gave him a spot. GO HARVICK Since he has led all season I must pull for him even more.
