I did something stupid and left my tailgate down when towing my boat. with a right turn, I tore some of the welds off the bottom of the wench stand where it connects to the trailer. I have access to a Mig welder, How hard is it to get this back in good working order?
Or Are there any Mechs out there that know how to weld that can give me a price on doing the work?

if you can't find anyone else I can do it. I have several years exp in welling. I'm a retired auto mechanic, and have done LOTS of welding to modify Supped up cars.

Just now getting to welding this thing back up. Borrowed a Stick welder from a buddy of mine. However Fletcher, I have a 69 Ford F250 I may be able to pick your brain on.
