mondo, how big is that pond? do you think youve caught the same fish twice? what did you use? either way got to love your (fishing) job!! another good fish!! thanks for sharing..

Thanks hockeyruss... I know for sure they are about 60 bass in this pond.. I had 40 northern largemouth stocked 2 years ago.. plus i took 20 largemouth and put in this pond..i took it from the other pond on the property. And they was already some largemouth in this pond. Going to stock it with bluegill in the spring to make them REALLY big. The other pond going to stock it with a fish called mean mouth... Take a small mouth and a large mouth .... equals.... babys.... and you have a mean mouth... this will be fun to watch and see the results.

mondo, if im not wrong but mean mouth is another name for a spot.. just like they call crappie papermouths..

Yes you are right,, i chose to go with the largemouth and not the spot. Both ponds are about 14 foot deep... about 4 acres each. They are also called mean greenies and a few others names i have herd. thanks
