Off Topic about Killian

I apologize for being off topic but I had something I had get out. I went to his site and checked out his woodworking. I think he is not only a craftsman he is an artist. He has some of the most beautiful work on his site. I personally own a woodworking shop and I am very impressed! If you get a chance check it out, you wont be disappointed it is breathtaking.

Killian is one of the luckiest guys I know. He is able to do something he enjoys for a living from his backyard, his wife bought him a boat, and he has me for a friend (LOL)! I think the bed is one of his best pieces, and I have seen a lot of his work over the last 20+years.

Nice work. We do quite a bit of woodwork ourselves. Dad has done everything from building houses from scratch, without subbing it out, to building furniture and wooden sailboats and kayaks. The thing is, we don't have the time that you have, as his job has long hours, and our shop is full of stuff being stored, as we have too much stuff and we haven't yet started on our barn. Someday, we are gonna have a few wooden canoes/kayaks, and hopefully a wooden runabout styled after a 1940s Chris Craft. (I have a knack for restoring old boats - at this point it is just old aluminums, but I am hoping we will have the time for more soon).
I believe Shadowfax mentioned that you live in Cartersville too. I am across from the primary school, on the corner of Old Mill road, and Terrell drive.


Killian, I must say, you are real lucky to be able to do this for a living. It makes life a lot easier, to have a job that you really love, as opposed to just not hating it.
