Tear Drop Drop Shot Weights? for T-Mike

Mike,

I have been searching high and low for those tear drop shaped drop shot weight you like to use. I have had zero luck finding them, even on the net. The only place I could even find them listed was out of Cali and they never even answered my email asking how to purchase them.

Can you help with locations to order from? Locally or internet is fine! I would prefer a 100% tungsten alternative if it all possible. I have not used a led weight in years and I am a total believer in the benefits of tungsten regardless of price! If only tru-tungsten would listen to me and start making one!

Also, Just to help all us users...maybe remind us what sizes you prefer to use and why? I know most of the guys here have never been to one of your seminars so it may be of interest to those users!

After reading your post I was looking through one of my component catalogs and saw some that might be what you are seeking. It was in the Stamina Catalog item#261-xx-195.

Thanks Mike, I looked at those....I just couldn't tell if they had the double swivel that you talked about at the seminar. That and the Kanjis are light. Didn't you say you use an abnormally heavy weight when drop shotting? Gotta love that $1.83 each though! lol

Troy, I use 1/2 oz almost exclusively. Me personally tungsten for dropshotting is overkill. Tungsten is used to make a lead weight smaller ie texas rig, jigs, jig heads etc etc. Sensitivity is not needed in dropshotting nor is a smaller profile. Just my .02 I am working on finding a quickdrop dealer. Again ask the dugout to carry them LOL. I'm getting close ~
