You need to post these in the FNF Contest Thread as well as here. Nice catch and am I right that judging by the lateral lines that these are two different fish?

Yes. Two different fish. Top picture was a 3-8 and bottom was a 4-2 on a Berkley hand held digital. Pretty sure #1 was a LM. #2 was a Spot.

Alright.I've caught alot of fish there and I knew they were all largemouth. Would that shallow of a lake even be able to hold spots? jw. maybe you know porko?

Don't make much difference what kind of fish they are, those are a couple of good looking fish, nice job!

I can tell you from my experiences in Texas that they can swim the very same water as largemouths. Unfortunately in Texas they went through a period of stocking them in a lot of lakes, many of those Texas lakes are a lot like Heath. The one thing a spot needs to proliferate is lots of food. As long as there is food they survived. Those same Texas lakes would get into the 90s every summer, and the spots survived.
