Question, separators without sight glass, how do you know when to change the filter. Looked at one at BPS on line and was wondering how you could tell when filter needed changing. Richard, did the filter have a drain on the bottom? You would have to be able to see if there is water in the gass to know if it is working. That doesn't necessarily mean the filter needs changing. The filter separate the water from the gas, but also serves to filter out solids as well. The only way to know with either type of system is to remove the filter and see, or just simply change it every now and again.

Bob, the one I looked at on the BPS web page, I could not see a drain plug and definitely no site glass that was the reason for my question. Next trip to BPS I will look at first hand and will be able to determine. Thanks.
