Yea, I was quite surprised. I have never caught one in GA before, and that one was quite large.

Nice perch! Where were you? Doc catches some perch on the river. I have seen a few by Bethany Bridge in the fall. Mighty tasty! I catch them on Lake Seed

I was on Etowah river in canton. I had a carolina rig with a night crawler on it.

I've caught several on downlined shiners in owl creek.
Caught a monster a few years ago at blue ridge. Had to have been close to 2 lbs
