I went to a welcome home event for Todd Love today for people that don't know the story Todd was hit by an IED in Afghanistan last year while serving with 1st Marine Recon. His father Gary Love fished in our Wounded Warrior Tournament this year in his place. This Young man lost both legs and his left arm but is still in great sprits. He will be here for a month for some R&R then returning to Walter Reed Hospital for More Rehab and to Improve in walking with his prostetic legs. This young man is only 22 years old and as his father said has not gave the ultimate sacrifice but had come close. I salute this young man and his family for the strenth, courage, pride and dedication they have given to this country. Welcome Home Todd and may the rest of your days be filled with joy and love.

Most of these guys don't know what it is to look a hero like that and still see the spirit in their eyes. Talk with one of them and they are all about life and living. What they gave up is nothing to them compared to their buds that they left behind.....
Welcome Home Marine, Semper Fi

Dang it all! I forgot what day that was going to happen! Robert told me yesterday that it was really something to see. The escort was over four miles long and there were about 2500 to 3000 folks that attended the ceremony! That's an awesome Hero's welcome in my book!

My comment above was not meant to be derogatory or sarcastic. Please just take it as a simple statement.
