A hard steady pull! no head shakes or circles with this one. It just wanted to stay down. I dipped it three times in the net before I finally got it in the boat. nasty and slimey for sure. Got to clean the carpet, you can see the blood. I hooked it in the corner of the mouth and it bled like it was on Plavix!

Nice work Bob! Although I am sure you were looking for greenies, that is still a fun fight and good catch! I got my boat back finally and will have my maiden voyage back on it tomorrow morning.

Some of the best tasting catfish you'll find right there. Caught my first one on allatoona a few weeks ago and just fried it up saturday.
Doesnt have the same flakey consistency of most fish, much more dense almost like chicken. If you ever keep one to eat, be sure to get all the meat off the belly - sounds nasty I know, but I got almost as much meat there as i did the main filets.

did It have only one eye? Me and my buddy caught one on a shakey head that was similar size shape I wonder if it was the same one lol
