We lost Tracy Owens this morning (Thursday)

Early this morning on Thursday, September 3, 2015 we lost Tracey Owens, Brandon "Skillet" Owens' mother and fishing partner. To those of us that knew Tracy, you couldn't help but love her. She was always laughing and fun to be around. Lord have mercy on us we she fished tournaments, she liked winning as much as anyone could! I reckon the Good Lord needed somebody up there to lighten the mood so he took our Tracey. Brandon, hang tough, Kiddo, Momma wouldn't have wanted you to be upset. Instead she most likely would want you to remember her good times!

Total shock, Tracey was a joy to talk to and listen to. Just a good soul who could make you smile and laugh every time you saw her, and a darn good angler, her and Brandon quite often were taking home the money. Rest in peace my friend.

So sad to hear this! Always a great time talking to Tracy before and after tournaments, could always count on her for a laugh and to put us all in a good mood even on those rainy days. Hang in there Brandon, just keep remembering the good times!
