Think you could cut the tops off an put them In 20ft of water instead on just off the bank? I think this could help out more wince not all fish want to be on the bank.. Also read a article thy a few pros did that said they have had more sucess in there career fish hard wood trees than pine trees.. Just a idea.. I'd come help with what I could an mark the GPS cordinates an we could post them.

I wish it was that simple crizzel. That would take an entirely different type of permitting or authorization from the COE. They would have to be put deeper than 20' to be sure of no boating hazard during low water levels. It takes a lot of concrete to sink a 20' top section of tree and a lot of work to tow the tree top to deep water. We are getting to cut a few hardwoods but the vast majority of trees that meet the requirements of this project are pines. It isn't that it can't be done, but it's a lot more work and more red tape. Ask Bassboy1 what he went through to complete his Eagle Project.
