Hi new member here. I live on the south end of the lake adjacent to core property near Acworth, fish from a kayak exclusively, but the south end has become really slow. Can anyone recommend a launch on the south shore of the main lake that is open really early in the morning? I haven't been to any of areas like Kellogg or Galts yet. Right now I like to fish from before sun rise to about 10 to avoid rec boats and water flees (jet skis). Also, anyone interested in fishing from a kayak or learning feel free to contact me, I usually go alone. Attached a photo of one of the stripers I caught on Allatoona in April. Attachments:

Hi there, Blockhouse is open 24/7 and is the southernmost ramp on the lake. Good fishing around the jetty there.
Not sure I want to fish Toona from a Yak but I'd be willing to go to the Hooch with ya when it gets really hot if you got a spare yak? Good fishing on the hooch and the scenery is awesome.

I will try the blockhouse, I paddle up there sometimes, but I kinda want to get away from the south end. Do you know if it is possible to launch early in the morning at Galt's Ferry, Kellogg cr, or Bartow Park? I guess I should call the core office to be sure.
I don't have a spare yak yet but will be getting one this summer. I often float the upper chat above lanier. Did really well on walleye, 5 fish from 18 - 20 in, one day in april. Will let you know when I go again, its very good for shoal bass and spots in summer, and is a beautiful float.
Thanks for your help!

Stamps Creek up here in Bartow County has 24/7 COE ramp ($3 if you don't have the annual COE pass). Deeper water and decent fishing. Should be clear of rec traffic early in the morning. Take exit 290 and go East on GA 20 till you get to Stamps Creek Rd. (about 6 or 7 miles), if you cross the Stamps creek bridge you've gone too far, turn around and go back to the first road and follow the signs.

Just a little fyi if you are not pulling a trailer at stamp creek you do not have to pay to park. We always hang out up around stamp creek because even on saturday in the middle of the day it stay's calm. Really nice area to fish.

Gatewood (Bartow County) is 24/7 and you are at Mckaskey Creek and not far from Stamp. Plus they school in there and out at the entrance to the main lake sometimes.
