Caught this Big Red right off the beach in Destin, Florida on 6lb. test. What an awesome fight for about 7-8 minutes!! ;D ;D ;D

Surf fishing is great...never know what you'll get between wash outs in the sand bars. Will be doing this is about 3 weeks!! :)Stud red too Kenny!

No, but I wish I had it on that trip. No tellin' what I would have caught with it. I used one of those white soft plastic paddle tails. I can find out the exact name if you need it.

March/ April, you are likely to hng a nice cobia in the surf. Locals use step ladders to inprove casting distance and seeing the man in the brown suit swim by.

I used a Tsunami Holographic Swim Shad Softbait in white. There are several imitations that work just as well. These are one of my favorite baits to use in salt water. I've caught Reds, snook, trout, lady fish and spanish mackerels with these things.
