Goose, Stamp Creek in Pinelog is not what you are expecting (It's very small). I would go to the hooch. It's probably too hot for those fish for this time of the year.

My dad really wants to try this place. I have shown him some places off goggle for the hooch but he wants to try stamp. We are use to fishing super small streams. We have fished some that were only 15ft wide .

goose no offense but you have beat this subject to death Mike is a guide for a reason he knows whats going on and hes telling you that stamp is no good this time of year hooch or north ga is your best bet good luck

Gooseman im in cherokee nc right now all the trout fisherman said the fish are not biteing because its as been to HOT like mike said .......

goose, You'll be lucky to get 15ft across out of Stamp in Pine Log WMA. It's a dang small stream from what I have seen of it.

I've hiked a few miles up PL WMA. Stamp is narrow and shallow. Not to say I haven't caught stocker bows there, quite a few. But only as the weather really cools off. If your looking for a good day in the woods, great place. If your looking for good fishing, may as well wait.

They stock it drive past the gate approx 1 mile to first concrete bridge. upstream is the hole where they stay.you might get a limit or zero.
