Out at noon and the wind was starting to blow pretty good so I hit wind blown points with traps, small shad imitations and finesse worms but to no avail. I then went into coves and found one. Thinking that perhaps they were in there good I stayed longer than I should and caught nada for a couple of hours. I then threw next to a bush and my line got tangled. I pull out the mess and bam there he was on all by himself ... I guess I can't even take credit for that one. This however, made me think that perhaps I was fishing too fast so I slowwww way down...Nada. I caught one more on the way back to the ramp in water about 2 feet deep. I never did mark a fish and I disagreeesment was that either they were really scattered or bunched up in a small area. Anyway glad to be back on the water !
